Tiny cafe. Pet friendly. Order the house dessert with coffee set.

What a quaint and lovely little place this was. Always glad to uncover little gems like these that affirm the value of taking the path less travelled (on a bike). The cafe is a little over 500m further on from the Iwakiyama-jinja shrine (temple?), with ample parking space if you're driving. Not a lot of good options available, but what was available was of great quality. We had the banana bread and pumpkin pie, with 2 coffees, and both desserts were sumptuous.

Don’t think twice and enter this super cozy coffee. Nice modern wooden touch with view on the mountains and there seems always some customer with a dog around. Cheese sandwich, desert.

I was trying to find my way up the mountain during winter and encounter this cafe. Came in to take a break from the snowfall and ask about the route up the mountain. The owner can speaks simple english. He also told me that the mountain isn't accessible. Ordered cheese toast and ice coffee for 1000 yen. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed looking at the snow in the cafe.
